Saw a sign while driving down Perkensville Road; now either I'm blind and never noticed it or it's just been established. Is anyone a member on here that can educate me on memberships?

That is the Chino Valley Shooting Facility, managed by the Prescott Sportsmen's Club, owned by the Town of Chino Valley and home to your very own Independence Training. We've been training there since last fall, and the range will open to the public on April 6th with a big grand opening ceremony. Be there! We will have a table there do make sure to stop by and say Hello!

Current site includes 50yd bay with covered benches and 100yd bay with covered benches. Future improvements include bathroom facilities (water well is already in), RSO building, 200-300yd bay (possible 600yd), several 25yd bays, and a 360 degree LEO only training bay.

I was starting to get worried there for a second. Hell yeah I'll be there. I've been trying to find a range beyond 100 yards for quite some time now, so this will be a great place to try out. What are the monthly dues there by chance? Will there be steel targets as well?

No steel targets except for the club competitions or our training courses, only 100yd for right now, yearly dues of $75 (+$25 for your first enrollment).

Otherwise, $10 per range use, per day.

Dad has been trying to get me to homestead on his property for years anyway

I was there today with only a couple other people on the line, my dad included. It has the potential to be a very nice facility.
