Any body got a source for MREs locally? I called Millers in Tucson but they only have sealed cases for $109 each. 
One of my many day jobs I am a behavioral specialist and I work with kids with significant social/emotional and/or behavioral problems. I have a student I work with who has some pretty significant behavioral problems, we made an agreement that if he could go from Xmas to Spring break with no trips to the office I would get him lunch. He looks like he is going to make it which is a huge accomplishment for him. He wants to be a soldier in the future, to keep him motivated we talked about our when we met today and he asked if I could get any "soldier ration things, the meals in the brown plastic bags" as he described them to me, as he has always wanted to try them. I said I will find some. I have one a chicken stew but would like to bring 2-3 total. Kid is really bright, just had a really bad childhood, and now has to live with his aging grandparents who don't take much interest in him. Any help pulling this off would be great, I have two weeks. Any help, direction etc. would be appreciated. I am going to try to look to see if there is a gun show coming up in the next week or 2 as well. Thanks! |
