Hello Gents,
Wife is having her annual Christmas Party for her work at our House. Last year I had 1 pack of firewood like you get from the outside of QT. Like 6 bucks. We ended up burning thru 4 packs of that. And expect it to be a repeat this year. So wondering if anyone has a good deal or line on some cheap firewood in the East Valley? Live off of Power and the 60. I have thought of taking an "off road" venture and seeing if I can find some down tree's or something, but don't really have a truck to be out and about. So buying might be the only way. Which sucks. You guys are always helpful. |

Much better deal than those QT bags. |

There's a place on Washington between 52nd street and Priest that only sells firewood, not sure if they do smaller quantities.
Edit: Www.bbfw.com |

Got any trees in your backyard you can trim? That's how I do it. I just trim the trees mid December once a year and have tons of firewood. That and all the unusable scrap from carpentry projects. Also don't shred your paperwork just save it in a bin all year and burn it at Christmas. |

They will sell you any amount you want. If you don't need "pretty" wood and want to load yourself, ask for "dune wood" and they will give you a deal in terms of "fill here to here and to the top in your pickup for 40 bucks" (being the last section from wheel wells back). You pick the pieces and pack it in. Mostly stuff with knots in it, and mixed from all the piles. Couple people and 15 minutes, and you can have a load of great hardwoods for 40 bucks that will last awhile. |
