| Ive never been to Chik-Fil-A before, decided to go to the off Stapley over by Caswells. Ya, looks like they had enough support, and no fast food is worth waiting in line that long. Looked just like the photos put up by OP. I will have to try it later in the week. |

I was running errands tonight and I drove by the location at the 101 and 27th ave the on foot line was 300 or 400 people deep and the car line was snaking through the parking lot, I was impressed. I think it's a good cause. While I am for legalizing civil unions I am against "gay marriage" I'm not ok with changing the definition of a word to make a class of people happy. As soon as they run a bill that legalizes civil unions I'll vote yes on it but as long as they keep trying to call it gay marriage I'll vote against it. Two fat guys slamming each other in the fart factory is not a marriage, sorry. If two people of the same sex think they love each other and they want to let the government know about it so they can get tax breaks that is fine with me but again it's not marriage. The thing that is really funny about this is that the gays think chick-fil-a is persecuting them over their beliefs so their answer is to persecute chick-fil-a over their religious beliefs...  That is pretty hypocritical and the public noticed it. They are also going to do a "kiss in" this Friday which is again some fucking bullshit, why don't they go to a mosque and go piss on some korans while they are it. At the root of it people shouldn't be persecuted over their religion and that is why I think we are seeing this level of support. The democrats stepped on their own dicks again when they chose to make chick-fil-a a target because of their religious beliefs but this is the type of nonsense we are use to seeing from them. |

Had breakfast at the 101 & Northsight locale. Some knucklehead in a white truck was there for what seemed like 10 minutes. Didn't see if he was buying for the whole office or just generally being a pain, but the usual 2.5 minute trip was more like 8.9. (First world problems are such a bummer!)

I also respect those who are against gay marriage. The vast majority of people think two gay people getting married is an insult to standard marriage and I completely understand their reasoning. Maybe you should study your history because until recently being gay was an actual mental disorder and only changed when we entered the era of political correctness. In the long run I really don't feel strongly either way about gay marriage, no matter what happens with it the results won't affect the contents of my wallet or what gun I carry. |

They may be there in support of the 1st amendment and the right of a person to believe and say what they believe without persecution from the government or the media. You do not see these same people out protesting or harassing establishments who support gay marriage. Most people in this society and on earth are not supporters of gay marriage, there are those vehemently opposed, those who just don't believe it is right, those who think it is ridiculous/absurd from a secular/non religious point of view and those who really don't give a shit either way. None of these positions are support. The hate is coming from people who cannot accept that other people do not agree or support what they wish they would, who make false accusations.
