At Wally World.
I was doing my grocery shopping this morning and came across a metric shit-ton of different sized 'TNT' fireworks assortment packs lining two sides of an aisle. Everything seemed reasonably priced too.
Then I noticed that they had posted flyer's, quite literally every 4 feet on the shelving, warning that discharge of said goodies was a "Class One Misdemeanor" within the city limits. Assholes.

Quoted: As hot and dry as it's been, along with the fires in Colorado, who would even remotely think fireworks are a good idea? In the desert or wilderness it would be a big problem, but in peoples landscaped green backyards that have drip systems running all the time making the ground wet it's not a problem. I forgot the exact numbers but the estimates last year was something like 2 million people set off fireworks illegally in AZ and there was only 3 accidents. |
