Go in pairs on those roads. If you can.
We were headed back from a successful hunt and one minute we saw somebody draggin their knee, the next he was gone. About a 75 foot fall. We helped stop traffic for the bird, which half hovered half landed, and helped the rescue with their ropes while they dragged what was left of him and air evaced him to the closest hospital. If we weren't there at that exact moment, they may have never found him. |

I would love to ride up there, but too concerned about an oncoming driver in my lane when I come around a corner. Not much room for error up there. That's half the excitement. staying in my lane and hoping around the next corner there wasn't an accident or someone isnt crossing the lines. I can be a thrill junkie.
Somehow I ended up with some Caduceus wine. |

Nothing in AZ beats having breakfast in Tortilla Flats. ATGATT I guess you don't get out much. The food sucks, the service is slow and that road is only mildly interesting if you just started riding. AZ has so many other beautiful roads both tar and forest roads to be discovered. |

3rd time through Paulden but first time I realized the world famous Gunsite is in that podunk town. Anyone know what that "Liberty" building in Jerome used to be? 1930 directory says 2 business named "Liberty" in Jerome: Liberty Garages & Liberty Theatre. Been so long since I've been up there, I don't know which one you might be referring to. |

It has an outline of where a huge eagle emblem might have been on the side of the building. Looks neat. |

Up through Yarnell to Prescott is fun, but I also like the ride up to Payson. Lazy turns that I can do at speed. Went all the way up to the Crater once through Winslow. Long ride, but damn, it was fun. I always wanted to go to 4 corners... I believe there was a route 666 up there (since renumbered) that is supposed to be good but that's way out yonder in the Chattahootchie. |
