I found two very different spiders under my diving board today.  Wondering what they are if anyone knows

#1

Super small.  Body was the size of a pin prick and black in color.  Bright red legs.  Looked like a black dot with legs.  Just extremely small.

#2

The body butt thing was huge compared to the head.  About a 1/4" ball.  White or very light grey in color with two faint white stripes going from head to toe if you will, and a small black dot on each side of it.  Legs were darker in color.  It was shaped like a black widow.
These just didn't look friendly.

Second one I would say is a wolf spider.

No, that wasn't it at all.  shape wise it was like a black widow, which is the only reason I was so concerned with it.    Like a white or grey bodied black widow with stripes and two black dots/spots.

This is a male black widow, I have seen them almost a characol color as well.

Did you notice what the web was shaped/organized like?
Were both spiders in the same web?

Maybe a brown widow (not black) and its mate.

Otherwise I would say some variant of an orb spider, but under a diving board isn't exactly where they'd normally set up shop.

Did it have this leg pattern?
