Newbie in Tempe. Seems like a great forum with great people. So, any ideas on where and who to shoot with before I develop bad habits?
Thanks |

Quoted: Downtown Tempe. 30 year old male. Shot with the ROTC in high school. Haven't really shot anything since. I have and want to become more proficient with my AR, P226, and Remington 870. Send an instant message to user StealthyBlagga and have him get you hooked up for the next intro to 3-gun at Rio Salado, my home club (...and the best damn club in the valley.) http://www.riosaladosportsmans.com/ |

If you check the schedule for Rio, next 3gun match is this weekend on Saturday at 7am. Ask about when the new shooter meeting is. I think it is earlier than stated here and you'll get the info. Bring a shotshell bag if you can but you can also ask guys if they will let you borrow their gear (most will). Pistol work would be better for Tuesday night steel. We don't do a lot of pistol work in the monthly matches which is kind of a bummer. |

Something as simple as this
www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/ROLLYPOLY®-MM-Folding-Dump-Pouch-7p228.htm Or a www.amazon.com/BlackHawk-Blackhawk-Shotgun-Bandoleer/dp/B001QGK1CO You can pick these kind of things in the Walmart gun section for under 10 bucks, or just wear pants with a lot of pockets. You'll need to carry out 20-25 or so rounds total since your gun can hold some. Dont feel the need to buy something until you see what others are running. |
