I'm the new guy here,
So Hello all. I only know of 1 military surplus in the EV- Freedom MS, are there others? Since I live in the QC/STV area, EVERYTHING is a commute, so where else is there/ ps. google fu not so much. |

I just finished my first AR in July. A PCFA lower (love it so far), and misc parts from gun show. Came out nice and goes BANG- ALOT! ( Now for a cheap local ammo supplier and I'm golden)
So now I'm looking to add some gear/rigging to go with it. I don"t want to spend alot of cash trying to "figure it out", so I would like to peruse some mil surp's to get ideas as to what might work best for me.Plus I like going to see the goodies they have. I did find a nice tactical shop in Mesa, called GMS Tactical. Lots of Molle, etc... Cool shop. Thanks for the help on the ms, I figured since this was such a gun friendly state there would be more ms places that just don"t appear on google searches. |
Welcome!
Phoenix is pretty lacking... Allied Surplus is pretty good, it's a bit small, being located in a strip mall. Larada's in Mesa was great but they closed up a couple years ago. My favorite surplus stores aren't in the Phoenix area, but check out Miller's Surplus if you're in Tucson, Hahn's if you're in Las Vegas, or Major Surplus & Survival if you're in the Los Angeles area. There are lots of online options too. |

A good basic low-cost rig would be a USGI MOLLE rifleman kit. Buy it online for cheap, stay out of surplus stores. |
