I'm condsidering a 4 day weekend just prior to Valentines day.
The wife and I have never been to AZ and we are looking for ideas. |

I've been here too long to think of what's "touristy".
I'd say plan a day for Sedona. Enjoy the red rock scenery and visit some of the shops on the main street. Drive through Oak Creek Canyon if the weather allows it. It'll still be cold up any further north than that and possible snow. |

I live in Phoenix and I really like visiting Prescott, J and G sales is their and whiskey row. Along with a bunch of other tourist shops, they have a nice war memorial on the town square. We also drove down to Sedona one weekend and drove around, walked around, and went hiking. It was pretty fun, we did a bunch of goofy stuff, drank margaritas made from cactus juice that tasted horrible, was a fun trip. The city of Tombstone is really cool, they do shoot out shows, the OK corral is there, its fun. |
