Who do you deal with here in Arizona?
Here's mine! Lone Wolf - Glendale Reasonably priced firearms, little ammo selection. Cabelas - Glendale Some of their ammo is over priced, good gun selection. Randall's - Glendale Just for reloading supplies Shooters World - Phoenix Expensive, not as good as in the past.. Shooters Vault - Phoenix A lot of tactical stuff. Bear Arms - Scottsdale Scottsdale Gun Club - Scottsdale Expensive J & G - Prescott Use to have a place in Tempe, which I miss. Good prices and selection. American Spirit Arms - Scottsdale |
Seems like all I deal with is ATF in Tempe. They always seems to have what I'm looking for instock, and are friendly. Pistol Parlor is also a choice and I buy a lot of stuff from them as well. Guns Etc, but I prefer not to deal with them after a rather strange conversation with the owner one day.

who has the biggest selection of used shotguns and pistols in the east valley? funny story I was at guns ect the other day looking at a pistol for my wife for christmas. I was thinking of getting one for myself as well and asked if they take trade in. He said yes but we would need to look at it. I said I have it right now if you want to see it. It is loaded though is it okay with you if I take it out? (sign says keep loaded guns holstered) he says nothing but looks at me like this for about 5 seconds Im like Ill go gget it from my car?" I just looked at him like and he said "yeah sure"walked out on the front sidewalk and unloaded it and walked back in and let him look at it. It was very awkward. |

In Yuma we have Spragues, Foothills Firearms, Yuma Gun and Coin, Big 5 Sports, and Sports Authority. Sprague's is so overpriced you have to laugh. Last time I checked they still wanted $20 for PMAGs.
Foothills firearms is far too expensive, but at least they're cool to talk with. I've spent hours just talking to the owner because he's a good guy who does know his stuff. He truly was helpful with my questions. On the other hand, Spragues will treat you as if you are worth the peice of gum stuck to the bottom of their shoes. They have flat out ignored my wife and helped the guy standing behind her. that day REALLY pissed me off since she went to buy me a lower that day. Oh well, that craphole doesn't deserve my money anyway. Big 5 and Sports Authority are typical retail stores with low selection and exhorbitant prices. Yuma Gun and Coin is fair priced (compared to everything else Yuma has) but it seems like a tornado blew through that building back in 1887 and was never cleaned. I mean that place is a MESS!! He probably has guns in there he doesn't know about because they're covered in junk. Alas, Yuma has no decent places (that I know of) to do business with. Damn I miss Florida. I guess I need to drive to Phoenix or Tucson to buy anything. |

I like The Pistol Parlor on Southern in Mesa, good selection, lots of EBRs.
Bass Pro has a huge selection, prices seemed OK. I bought my Marlin there. I miss J&G too, right after they opened the city tore up both Baseline and Price which made it really hard to even get to the store. |

Pistol Parlour has okay prices typically, although you may have to stand around for awhile before anybody wants to actually take your money. I have found in the past the staff there enjoys chatting with their buddies more than they like selling stuff. Your mileage may vary. But they usually have reloading components and if I don't feel like making a drive to Dillon, they're the best bet. Not sure why you guys are thinking SGC is pricey - they can be on doodads and accessories, and they have been known to be over-inflated on rifles at times, but sometimes they have some really good deals. Heck they just had G19 and G26 police trade-ins for $335 - can't beat that. Overall they're one of the places I stop by most often, given that if I'm in the neighborhood I can take a quick look there as well as US Autoweapons and Dillon right up the road. I keep meaning to check out the other nearby gunshop but never remember to I've been over to the Gun Depot in East Mesa once, seemed like an okay store, they definitely had some decent pistol prices on used weapons - had I had any money on me, I probably would have left with several things that I didn't need |

I keep meaning to check out the other nearby gunshop but never remember to +1. They were the first I saw to sell PMC at under $7 when it was still $10 at most places online, Bushmaster 16" carbines for under $1000 during the election, $10 AR mags, $10 G22 police trade-in mags, and most everything I see there is priced to be competitive with internet pricing. Hell they even have a deal on two level IV cermaic/steel plates and a carrier for $400. Their staff is sometimes a bit stuck up depending on who it is, the guy with tats all the way down to his knuckles is always helpful when I've gone in. Oh, any idea if they still have any of those 19's left? |

I think the name of the outfit is "Guns Plus" but I'm not sure. They are on Grand and Dysart, around Surprise or Sun City. I had them do a few transfers for me. Anyways, they are pretty hard to deal with. I would avoid them at all cost...But that's just my opinion. |

When I was young and stupid and a US Marine, the douchebags at Yuma Gun and Coin absolutely fucked me on a 1911 that I needed to sell when I got deployed on short notice to a minor warlike event and needed some quick cash. They also fucked me on another deal when I just didn't know any better. Fucking crooks. |

| I'm looking for an FFL in the West Valley to do a transfer from budsgunshop.com. I live in Surprise along the 303, any pointers?? Or a shop that might have a Savage MKII TR for somewhere close to BSG's price of $368. So far, I've only found them local for $449 :( |

On SGC, I guess I would say their expensive because they have some pretty pricey weapons. Like precision rifle from Accuracy International that go for a pretty penny, or SBR. I would agree, SGC has a lot of nice, expensive stuff that other places do not carry. But, when you take a look at their prices of everyday type guns they are about the same or lower than other gun stores. I have seen good prices on glocks, M&Ps, ARs, and 1911 in there before. The place next door is pretty cool too, but I havent been in there enough to make any comments on their prices. |

agreed on guns plus they were great to deal with back in 1996-1989, after that they have been poo, i called them last week asking if they had a semi auto uzi in and the guy on the phone said "WHAT IS THAT"........ and i refuse to shop at cabelas after getting screwed from the gun libary manager ( i put an pre-ban styer maadi on hold came back 2 days later to pick it up and they said it was sold........ no appology or nothing) |

I used to think "SGC, the rich Scottsdale gun store." Which, in some ways, it is. But then I actually went in and all the stuff I care about and/or could possibly afford is priced quite competitively, and the folks are nice. It's now one of my favorite stores. I always stare at the wall of machine guns and grenade launchers with envy. ![]() For used junk/old shit, there's a place in Tempe called AZ firearms and pawn that sometimes has decent deals and does trades. My favorite place for looking for used odds and ends to trade for is AJI in Apache Junction. It was "the" gun store growing up for me. Half my dad's gun collection was purchased at Lone Wolf over the last 20 years. Everything else has been traded for at AJI. Lone wolf always has good prices on guns, particularly things that the average arfcommer would want. |

This site really can suck. I posted my opinion on Lone Wolf and its gets deleted. This comment most likely will too in 3...2... Maybe you didn't sucessfully post. This site will ban a fool like its cool, and occassionally edit somebody's post, but its pretty rare to see something just disappear. |

No. I was talking about just a quote I made on this thread earlier this week. Oh well. Thanks. |

I have bought a few from Lone Wolf, but it has been a while. Bought a few from Bear Arms, fairly helpful, decent prices on some stuff. Shooter's World, bought at least one from them, and I use Shooter's Vault for my FFL for Gunbroker, and have bought a few accessories from them. All good places! |
