This is a game of the two teams that can't!!!

Cardinals should have never gotten rid of Matt Leinart!!1 The hell with all these DA, Max Hall
Kool aid drinkers.

The Cardinals need their defense to score 21Pts to win. THAT IS ALL!!!

I'm a Leinart fan also, it was a ridiculous decision.

The only question I have about Matt is this. When he was sacked and broke his collar bone in, 2006, did
he ever fully recover?? Is there something we don't know about Matt?

The collar bone he broke, I do believe, was to his throwing arm.

Leinart was horrible.  Slow, deliberate delivery.  You could tell where he was going with it before the ball was snapped.

Leave Hall in if healthy and consider this a rebuilding year.  Cards are a 5-11 team in any other division but the horrific NFC West.  They might go .500 this year given the fact that no one in the NFC West wants to win games.

If Leinart was such a bad quarterback, why did he beat out Kurt Warner in 2006 for starter?

Also Matt had better stats in the preseason in terms of percent completion, accuracy, and no turnovers than Derek.....

Because they used their first round pick on him and felt they needed to justify it? He threw more interceptions than TDs in his career with the Cardinals. It seems like every time I watched him play I was trying to figure what the hell he was thinking.

He actually replaced Kurt at the end of 2005 season because he was playing better than Warner. Then in 2006, He beat out Kurt until
he broke his collar bone.

After 2006, he never got to practice with the first team wide receivers and that makes a difference. Besides the fact that he never got any protection from the O line.

Well he won't be starting next Sunday!!

What you do in high school or college is one thing, pro football is a whole new game!

I predict that Max will have a fairly long career in pro football.  He will most likely be a second  q b much of his career as he learns to read defenses, perhaps a starter, but it will not be for the Cards his entire career.  Skelton will get a chance as time goes, but the Cards will have to deal for a top starter next year, or draft high for a qb.  If they don't have a thrower they will lose Larry Fitz who has a chance to make the Hall of Fame if they have a thrower, no thrower, no catches for Larry.

You remember that line from Ray Stevens, in the shriner song? "Embarrassing!"  (twenty or so syllables in that, the way he pronounced it.)

That's what yesterday's game was like. Cold weather, wet ball, 'hit on the head'  - that just wasn't a Superbowl class performance. DRC offsides 2,3 times? WTF?

Neither Anderson nor Hall distinguished themselves yesterday.

Leinart had 3 years to prove he could do the job. Never did. Another top draft pick wasted. /sigh/

Given yesterdays performance, we ain't going to be going to the big show, this January.

Kurt Warner himself said " Matt was never given a chance to be the starter".

I don't call getting to play with 2 minutes or less left in a game alot of opportunity. Matt won the game last year aginst Tennessee but the defense
choked  that one away allowing Young to go 99 yards with less than 2 minutes and score a winning touchdown.

The reason why Matt Leinart isn't around is because Wisenhunt didn't get along with him!!! How can Matt prove anything
sitting on the bench for three years. Did Max Hall or Derek Anderson win the Heisman Trophy!!!

Matt Leinart only lost one game in his college career.

I really think that you could have put any 'decent' college QB in that spot and had similar results. That USC team was so stacked it was ridiculous.

Were such a better team without Matty. HAHAHAHAHA!!!

It is almost predictable right now.  The team does a lot of great things, but the 2-5 bad things(turnovers at critical moments) erase it all.  The Cardinals keep beating themselves.. its not like they suck.. they just turn it over too much.  If they even just cut the turnovers in half, it would look like a totally different team!

I believe in them, I like them, and love to watch them play!

GO CARDINALS
