It's the San Francisco of Arizona.

Not really that bad, but it is a small, very liberal thinking college town.  It's been a long time since I lived there, but the job market was very difficult then, probably more now with the economy. Flag has grown since I was there, but it's still pretty small.

The nice thing about Arizona?  Pretty much no matter where you live, it's only a couple hours to somewhere completely different.  I'm in Phoenix.  I can be down here at 70 degrees in the winter and drive for 2 hours and play in the snow.  I can drive for 5 hours and be at the beach in San Diego.  Etc etc.  It's really pretty nice.

Lots of snow. They get 4 seasons there. Do not want.

However, they have BEERFEST this weekend which I shall attend!

More like the Peoples Republic of Boulder.

It is not all hippyville, just downtown and near the University.  Normal people live here too.  It has four seasons but they are not brutal (well if you don't count the 5 feet of snow last January).  We need conservative people to dilute the hippy/socialist influence.

There was a LOT of snow this past winter, but it's never been a constant, some years are light. That was before global warming though. There are less liberal shitheads, californicators and whiners there than in the Phoenix area, but they tend to be seen more. The worst part is the growth and high real estate prices, it used to be a kick ass little town. The lifestyle's never been for everybody, but there are a lot worse places to live.
