Independence Firearms Training is based in Dewey, AZ and was started by myself and my friend Dan Pilgrim earlier this year. We are both highly experienced shooters and instructors.
Our classes are designed for individuals with experience ranging from beginner to advanced levels. We focus on Safety, Law, & Marksmanship. We felt a need to fill a training gap in Northern Arizona as there are several training organizations that focus heavily on Military and Law Enforcement styles of training, such as AFTT and Gunsite; yet no one up here teaches basic courses at reasonable rates to those who want to learn how to handle firearms safely and efficiently. We feel that everyone deserves good training and that no one should be priced out of it. Come spend a day in the cool weather of Northern Arizona - we aim to deliver an exceptional educational experience to all of our students who attend.
