Anybody going to the Big Sandy Shoot this weekend?  I'd love to go, but committed myself to the Tempe Arts fest already with family and friends.  Maybe next time

If anybody goes, post pics!

AZGFD Outdoor Expo, Tempe Arts Fest, Big Sandy Shoot, SGC Expo . . . . WTF?! How am I supposed to choose?!

Actually I'll be at the AZGFD Expo with the family - it's always a good time!

There were fewer shooters than in october, but the Saturday night shoot was still full of fireworks. Thursday night's wind died off , and by sat-sun it was actually damn nice.

The person who took a lot of the photos for the organizers will be working til thursday or friday, but they'll turn up eventually.

If you haven't been to one, you really should go, at least for the saturday night shoot. Show up early and look at what some folks drag out.

I was there down in the 'low rent district' (position 85 - 87). The shoot was good, but I had a miserable time as I had tweaked my back moving ammos around the garage in preparation for going. I was in such pain that I needed friends to help me get up off the ground after firing prone. Thank God I had just taken delivery of an AA mount & tripod for my M60, so I was able to stand upright and do some shooting. The wind.....as always.....sucked the Big Weanie.
