There isn't much in Quartzsite, bunch of trailers and dirt. Population of 10,000 in the summer and about 10 times that in the winter.

UMMMMM  OUCH  I'm about 15 miles East and live in a trailer.  Although according to MarkM I'll always be a snowbird, I have been here over 3 years.

Most of THOSE people leave after the Gem and Mineral Show.
For your perusal:
Freedom First Fire Arms · (928) 927-5145
700 S Central Blvd · Quartzsite ·

Quartzsite Crystal · (928) 927-5000
Corner B10 & Moon Mountain Rd · Quartzsite

I have not been to FFFA, but have talked with Lee @ Crystal numerous times.  I got my permit from his class.  He is just getting started, and the shop is sure not much to look at, old Quonset hut printing building.  I think he mostly handles consignment firearms.  Nice guy but doesn't suffer fools very much.

There is also the Hi Jolly grave site, lots of shops on both sides of the freeway with all kinds of junk you probably need, events at the QIA, the jets at the park.  Palo Verde is probably the best eatin joint in town.

Oh, and by the by, they paved the main street last year and it is now 4 lanes!!!  Sure makes it easier to get around those snowbirds and 18 wheelers.

Parker is about 35 miles north on 95 and has 2 shops there.  If you come across a yard sale, people in these parts sometimes sell them things that go bang from a folding table.

OK, based on this post I'll give your store another try.  I was there about a week or so ago, during the week at 9:10 am, and the joint was locked and noone I could see in the store.  I went down the road to the other place and left some money.  Does Jr. run the computer place next door?  That place has never been open when I stop, even in the middle of the day.

Opinions vary, I prefer a restaurant, not a noisy bar with really greasy fish and fries.

Dude Jr. totally screwed me on those plumb crazy lowers. Pre ordered way back in Dec. he told me they would be in in feb. called to confirm in feb he said all is well. go in on 17th he was on the phone selling some to a distributer from the conversation I heard. present him with my reciept. He give me the well they arent here yet. I am like I guess he figured since he sold them to me for 89 and now wants 99 he would just shine me on hoping I would take the refund. I did. I now know that his integrity is worth 10 bucks. I will never deal with him again. and all of my friends now know so he is persona non grata for all of them as well. He wont be in bussiness long with his lack of ethics. on a side note yuma isnt too far and they have several gun shops who surprisingly actually WANT my bussiness so thats where I go.
