I'm kinda new to predator hunting. I was hoping to get some helpful tips for calling and places to go. I've gone a couple times close to Morristown but haven't heard or seen a thing. I live in North Phoenix but am willing to a drive for a hunt. Any suggestions??? |
| Funny you should ask - I'm actually working on some instructional videos right now, and those are largely going to be based on my predator hunting book that got published back in August. I also just became an NRA Certified Instructor for a few different things and while I was organizing my class lists and ideas, a hunting class popped into my mind so I think I'll incorporate that very soon. |

That sounds awesome because am a total newb when comes to hunting. Most people learn from either friends or family that hunt which i neither and would love to take some class to at least get the lay of the land. Another +1 here. It is starting to sound like critical mass to hold a class. I am in Tucson but would head your guys' way to participate in a class in the good company of ARFcommers! |

I've never been hunting before, but have been wanting to get into it for the longest time. I've been an avid shooter for years now, but I dont have any friends/family that hunt to help get me involved. |

Sounds like I'll be putting on a class, then. I live in Prescott Valley, would you guys be willing to come this far north or should I hold it somewhere down in the Valley? The season is starting to wind down but there are still a few good months left to get in some hunting. Weekends or mid-week? I would prefer during the week but could work out a weekend if I had to.
What about 5:30p - 9:30p if we can do it on a weeknight, full intro to predator hunting with tons of info presented in a fun and interactive way. Everyone who registers gets a copy of my book, and I might be able to work a deal with a call maker to get everyone a new hand call. $50 for the class (I have to rent a facility somewhere) - what say you? |

I will be scheduling a week night class before the end of February, held in the North Phx area. It will be $60, you'll get a copy of my book, the class will last 4 hours, and I promise it won't be boring! Everyone who attends will also be able to ask all the questions they'd like to! There will be at least one other very experienced predator hunter there, and I will cover everything from scouting and stand selection to firearms and camo, as well as ladder hunting, thick brush hunting, skinning, and much more! All attendees will also be able to schedule their slot for a field day in March, held on a weekend and just north of the Valley. During this field day I will show everyone how to choose a stand, do some camo demos, we'll do a skinning demo, and by the end everyone will be able to go into the field with confidence! Cost for the field day will be $40.
I will also have plenty of examples of calls, camo, decoys, etc during both events. Once I get times and dates nailed down, I will post a link to my blog so that everyone can register using that, as I don't want to upset ARFCOM since I'm not a dealer or anything. |

Since I already purchased your book, can I knock a little off the price of the class, or is it built in? |
