| Looks like the price of fuel both gas and diesel are getting out of hand again . This time they can't blame W . I wonder why we can't drill and use only domestic oil ,and solve the problem by keeping the money in the country? If we did the world price of crude would drop like a rock . This would put lots of folks to work here .We could also build 8 or 10 new refineries . It would be great seeing the Saudis and Ruskys fighting each other and getting $25.00 a barrel . We could be energy independent . |

Remember the congressional, and then candidate Obama's approval on relaxing drilling restrictions? They gained a lot of points and independent votes running against the "drill, baby, drill" platform of folks like Sarah Palin. WTF? Why aren't we drilling? Another broken promise? | We could drill here day and night and if the price of oil was $100 a drum...the companies would sell it for $100 a drum. It wouldn't be cheaper just because we got it at home. The big picture is to get off oil and find a different form of cheap, sustainable energy. |

Shucks, just the phrase "drill baby drill" lowered oil prices dramatically. I agree that another form of energy is needed, but the Enviro-Nazis make it impossible to do so. No matter what source of energy we may come up with ,they will tax it . They will find a way to tax the sweat on your balls sooner or later.the point is if WE have our own the demand will go down world wide and the price will go down . The jobs that would be created from drilling and refining in the USA would be a great thing for us all . Quoted:

| I don't think the Arabs have a thing to worry about if the USA turns to domestic supplys of petrolium. China has just surpassed the USA in the number of automobiles and I'm certain that India will not be far behind. Whatever we don't acquire, those two nations certainly will. Would be nice to tell the Arabs to pound sand though! |
| what other forms of energy for cars? batteries? how are you going to build that without oil? how are you going to deliver those batteries without oil? not going to happen. fools dream. might as well ride a horse. to get energy out you need to put energy in. the democrats talk big but deliver nothing. green jobs? are they going to power our cars with marijuana? they claim the republicans want to keep us on foreign oil yet they actually shut down oil production in our country. |
