MOST PEOPLE WILL JUST SPEND THE MONEY AND IT WILL BE COLLECTED IN SALES TAX. *BAN THE SPEED AND RED LIGHT CAMERA'S *CUT SPENDING *CASINOS FOR ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE IN THE STATE, GAMBLING FOR ALL ! Problem is that most of the folks that want that job are the kind of folks we don't want in that job. I always said about politics, "Pick the most qualified person that doesn't want the job, and if they perform well we'll let them go back to the private sector in 4 years".

Anyone with the moral character, principles, integrity, and a sense of propriety, will not compromise those very traits simply to wade into the sewer that politics in America have become. The old adage "Garbage in, garbage out" applies very well to the types that are so debased and crooked that they will seek further self promotion by involving themselves in politics.
One simply does not ascend to the level of state or federal politics without first selling their soul to one special interest group or another. They are bought and paid for otherwise they wouldn't have a chance to begin with. Sad state, but that's the reality of it. |
