| Any of you Arizonanians know much about THIS event? I just finished reading a new book about it and was wondering iof anyone had and firsthand experience with Cochise County during the few years this was going on. |

It was in the van and the kid driving had just been kicked out of Buena, he was a teen ager and had the world of a teen who had been ridiculed openly by much of the student body, especially the athletes, setting off the bomb in the parking lot as students milled around after school could have killed hundreds. We were very lucky! You can't believe the security we had at the school after that. In fact the site of the new school was made isolated partly because of this incident. Interestingly, after Col Grossman's speech ti SRO's in August, security at Buena has increased 10 fold, all gates locked, all doors locked all the time, security guard on the roof, SRO with a USR leased to the SVPD for $1.00 a month. Come visit Cochise County, peaceful since 1884.
