Not sure if I want to drive down from the Prescott area to just to attend the show on Sunday. Looking forward to your thoughts on, ammo, mags,  or any other deals to be found.

I'm in the market for a used X2 sub-compact light, among other parts and things.

Thanks in advance.

Deals at a gun show?  At a Crossroads gun show?  Last time I went I was out almost $20 by the time I walked in the door (and you still have to pay for fuel from Prescott).  The dealers don't have to deal with that many people showing up, especially with this many people thinking everything is going to be banned.
If you are looking for something specific, it can be worth going.  But for a "deal", you are better off keeping a close eye on internet classified adds.

Just got back. Swamped. XM855 10 for $15.00. $1.50 per round. And people were buying it. I think I am very wealthy now. What a joke though, ATF all over the place, idiots trying to buy with no AZ ID, hell, they probably were ATF. I got propositioned for a rifle I was selling three times. No thanks boys, I'll pass. No AZ ID, no deal. I think i will insist on CCW from now on.

Great Obama shirts, though.

November '07 Gunshow...When hispanic teens (that can barely speak english) are pulling inch thick wads of $100 bills out of their pockets to pay for 4 RRA AR pistols on one 4473, being put on hold, moving to different tables and walking with their hardware...It's a BIG DEAL!!! Off to the border...back on Sunday for more. This one doesn't need a picture or a document or a link. It's blatent and bold!!!

No good.. Line was ridiculous.. I got there 10am.. Ammo was gone by the time I got through the gate, I did score 400 rounds of .223 for .50 a shell.. They had a shitload of 12ga. Went looking for a Springfield XD compact 9mm.. Found a brand new one for 575.00 plus tax.. I skipped that sale, went to the sportsmans in Mesa, got the same gun for 489. plus tax.. Everything was way overpriced and everything was being bought up.. Vendors were raking some serious cash! There were a shitload of Magpul mags for my AR15.. Overpriced by 50%, but since I cant find them on the internet I dropped 80 bucks for 2-30 round mags w/ windows and a 5 round mag for hunting.. Amazing..

I am going to try my luck again tomorrow to see if ammo vendors really do restock.. ;)

Overall dont waste your time coming down from Prescott.. You will be very disappointed..

That's weird, 30 round Pmags with windows  were 20 bucks, and walking out at 4:45 .223 ammo was .34 cents a round. You must have been looking at the wrong places. The line was ridiculous at 10 though.

There were a lot of ak's cheapest I saw was high $500's up to $1000+
The low end were pretty beat, and it seemed like most were in the $800 range.

Dam.. Dont tell me that!! :)

I never know where to look.. I went in the West and south buildings and then went through the center tents.. I didnt make my way into the eastern building. Oh well. July gun show and I will see then..

What ammo stations did you go to?

I didnt even attempt to buy ammo but from what I heard, the gusy out front and center had th ehighest prices.  Inside, J and G had "fair deals".  Dont know what that means though.

I was on the look out for PMAGS, mostly in foliage green, didnt find one.  Plenty of black, FDE and even a few in OD.  I probably came across half dozen or so vendors on Saturday that were selling them, cheapest I saw was 30 for a PMAG w/ window.

First time I ever went early..  got there around 1030 and waited in the east line.  I think I waited 1.5 hours to get in.  1 PM , lines were gone.   Last time I do that shit.

Crowded and jammed.  usual.  A good freind was with me and noted that a lot of complete rifles for sale, not many parts.   I was on the look out for odds and ends.  Got some bags, canteens, goggles, etc.  If you dont make it, you are not missing much at all in terms of deals for anything mainstream.

I was there before the door opend on Saturday hoping to find some specific gunpowder and have a look around.  Line to get in was three times longer than ever before!  Took me almost a full hour to get in.  MiWall is the big ammo and reloading components dealr at these shows but their lines were at least a half hour wait!  I could never get close enough, but was ablet to look through the crown to see that they did not have the powders I was really looking for.   All of the Obama voters are now buying ammo like they now know they voted wrong.

I bought a nice Benchmade knife at a decent price and a few bukllets for handloading 44 Special ammo.  Looke at some nice stuff too.  AK's that look nice are now $750 to $1,200!  but there are plenty of them.  I saw AR15's prices fron $979 for basic DPMS cerbines, to gougers asking $2,300 for Colt AR15's.   It really is buyer beware in the these panic times.   Everywhere there was a vendor selling any quantity of ammo there were peope four and five deep.   But there WAS ammo as witnessed by hundered of people wheeling hand carts with two or 10 case of ammo on them.  This is just hoarding for hoarding's sake.  When all these foil hat wearers are stocked up the market will settle out again.

I wished I would have saved my time and money and just stayed home instead, but the spectacle of it all was worth something I suppose.

Looks like most were out of towners from that Bloc nation to the west of us...
7.62x39 was unavailable. I couldn't find it in any quantity at the show.

J&G sales had WASR-10's for $489. I bit like I thought I would and now have a new rifle to care for and feed.

Dude, you were looking in the wrong place, Shooters World had 30 round P-Mags with window all four colors 5 for 100 bucks. That was the cheapest I found and they had a lot of them. I had planned on buying some 9mm cases but found the pushing and shoving ridiculous. I even heard a rumor while I was walking around 2 guys were slugging it out. I ended up buying several P-mags 5 for 100 and went home happy. Had a get in free ticket I found while walking up in the lot!!!!

To all the hack off scum bag vendors who were just flat our screwing people out of their money for ammo GET BENT, and I HOPE YOU CHOKE ON YOUR MONEY!!

TO all the Screw balls looking to pay the HIGH ammo prices GET BENT when the ZOMBIES come I will be taking your ammo from you!!

They had a booth in the green building. Sorry Bro just though you should know. I don't mind paying 20 bucks a mag but any one charging more should be strung up by their toes. The last two shows they have had the same deal. I have managed to pick up several bunches each time. They were by far the cheapest.

The last show when everyone was in the small far west white building they had 3 big boxes. I picked up 5 then walked for a bit and when I came back they said some dealer paid 5 for $100 for all of them. Found their box on some ass holes table, he was selling them for $35 each. AHHHH you have to love America! People were paying it too.

Were there any small rifle or large pistol primers? I attended a wedding Friday night and spent Saturday morning sleeping it off.

I doubt it, but it doesn't hurt to check. I have brass, powder, and bullets, just no primers.

Well it sucks that I missed it but at least some one was being real about it.  Nice to know Shooters World was on the level . I will have to keep checking with the store.
Thanks K9
