I just got home from the Greenfield & McKellips WalMart. The guy behind the counter said they sold 16 cases of 9mm WWB 4 box limit since last night. He also said some guy just got arrested for buying ammo at that location and openly selling it in the parking lot at gun shows.
He said people are buying ammo and reselling it at the gun show private sale w/o a license with the intent of making a profit and that it's a federal offense to do so. Is that true or BS? |
| not that I know of....but selling to non-US citizens/non residents is a crime. That could easily happen at a gun show. Local and Feds are all over the place at gun shows, people unknowingly break the law regularly at shows. Some do it deliberately. In either case, people are regularly busted at the Phoenix gun shows for violating the law. Know the laws and cover your ass. |

If it allows me to get some fricking ammo finally then I don't care. I'm sick of calling Walmart 3-4 times a week and them having nothing. These gunbroker people that are buying all the ammo stink. |
| The store above said they're getting ammo in every night but it's gone within 24 hours and that's at a 4 box limit. I don't GB ammo or parts. I stopped in to pick up 14 quarts of Rotella and a filter. The Greenfield/McKellips store is supposedly the heaviest hitter in the state for Wally ammo. They've had more ammo than any WalMart I've ever been in. The clerks comments bugged me a bit. It does boil down to know the law. Things are crazy these days. |

This guy is just practicing his "informational speeches" for when he upgrades to working at a regular gun shop. You have to admit; he's got a promising career.

Hum, I'll have to go check that one out then sometime. I imagine he was full of it. Most of them are, just like the one who told me all new ammo was going to be serializd. |
