Going to be in Phoenix this weekend and the following week on business.  Any places that I must visit?  I have been to Scottsdale Gun club in the past but that's it.  I am primarily an AR guys with an interest in long range stuff also.

Any gun shows?

Thanks in advance.

If you didn't see USAutoweapons while you visited SGC, that's worth a trip back.  It's about 200 ft. north of SGC in the same parking lot.  They specialize and have in stock numerous FFA weapons and is a classy place.USA   Bear Arms in Scottsdale, and Pistol Parlor in Mesa are both traditional gunshops with new and used inventory and nice folks.

Way over-priced...dont waste your time.

Only 2 places I go to often:

-cactus tactical.....Limited store hours but you can order from their website. Owner is probably one of the nicest guys in this industry...he remembers a face and we always bs for a little when he has time.

-Shooters vault...good stock of firearms, reasonably priced and always helpful.

I have to second Shooter's Vault and Cactus Tactical. Many dollars spent at each and always a nice experience.

Thanks for the help guys.  Ended up spending some Iowa money down at USA autoweapons (Troy rear backup site).  SGC was pretty picked over from a parts perspective.

You guys are pretty fortunate.  Although the prices seemed on the side of ridiculous you have some great places to get some hands on time with the products.

Thanks for your help.

Derby Guns of Scottsdale.  They are members of this site and terffic folks.  I went to LFI with them and Ayoob purchases from them in Town.

Guns Plus is pretty weak. Check out Shooters World/Arizona Tactical. Thats the biggest one I know of. I here there is a sick one somewhere in Tempe as well.

Shooters World is a gun store, Arizona Tactical is a police equipment and 5.11 clothing store. They are both in the same location but AZTAC don't sell guns. The company in Tempe that ripped off a cool name is not part of their company.

I like Shooters World, they are currently doing some construction but besides the dust they are always friendly at the gun counter. The gun manager is way cool and he always tries to have a good stock of AR parts and accessories in the store. If they didn't have it they ordered it for me. Keeps me going back, never had one of the "bad" experiences some seem to describe there. Shoot there several times a week and spend a ton of money there. .
