Within the next few weeks I am looking at getting a Rem. 870 shotgun. I would like the Police Magnum, but it's not absolutely necessary that it's the Police model.
Mainly looking for a 18" w/ extended tube. I would REALLY like Rifle sights on it, MAYBE ghost ring... I will be putting a pistol grip on it eventually. Anyone know of anything close locally? |
I was in Caswell's today looking at pistols. They had at least five 18" 870's in different configurations. Don't know what the prices were although I would assume reasonable. Place was packed.

| Pawn shop at Cave Creek and Union East of Casey Jones has 28" Express Magnums for under $200. Got mine for less than $170 OTD, cut the barrel myself, threw on a 2 shot ext. and a Speed Feed IV-S and a quick Krylon refinish. With a Hi-Viz fiber optic front sight and a Tac-Star side saddle I'm just over $300 into it. If you choose that route, check out ALL the cheap 870's they have an pick the best. Counter guy told me they had no 3" mags besides $300+ Wingmasters. Looked at all the 870 Express's, found about half were 3" and mine is an older model someone updated to flex-tab so it was a win-win-win situation. |
