So I check in here every time I visit your fine state. The last few trips there has been construction on IH10. How is it these days? Advise for me flying through on my way to Phoenix was to stay in the left lane and drive 55. Still the same MO?

Yea. Check the radio as soon as you get into range for traffic updates just to make sure some tard didn't crash and clog it up. 104.1 is a good news station that has traffic every 15 minutes or so. If there are problems on that stretch of I-10 then take the frontage road but most of the time things go just fine.
