I did mine without a lawyer. My ex went to "the Divorce Store" and had a paralegal do the paperwork. She claims they screwed up when she wasn't smart enough to try to write some things into the decree but I think she was just too dumb to think of certain things initially and then was pissed when I told her to fuck off it wasn't in the decree so she had to rights to it. All I had to do when I got the initial paperwork was a few notarized signatures. Was done in 90 days. Unfortunately it took her longer to get the point I wanted nothing to do with her anymore and almost had to invoke the "harassment" clause against her.

If no children, and you two can agree on division of property should as easy as others have said just filling out paper work. From past experience (two divorces, in another state) try and keep it friendly until everything is signed sealed and delivered. Make sure the court “rules” on everything, do not assume because you and her sign the agreement that the deal is done. She gets a hair across her a— and you could find yourself on the short end of the stick. I’m not a lawyer nor did I sleep at a Holiday Inn last night. Just speaking from past experience.
