Gonna shoot about 5am? You should be able to go North or South a few miles and find a dirt road to explore. If you go to I40 and take the Franconia exit and go North, it's just a big wash and you shouldn't have any problem. You do realize it's going to be about 115°. |
| Check the local forest service updates and make sure target shooting is allowed. Generally Tonto and Sitgreaves will post bans on target shooting, it's better to check before you drive out there, start blasting and the forest rangers start driving toward the gunfire. |
