And contrary to "arfcom" belief... Not all LEO's have a fond appreciation for gun ownership. Im not saying they dont believe in it, they probably just dont care. |

Well, their excuse is when Martial Law is declared, the Constitution is NULL and VOID. I don't know whether Martial Law was ever declared in New Orleans or state of LA. But I brought up the same issue of upholding the Constitution (LEO and National Guard / MIL) and that was the response I received ... unfuking-believable .... |

Seems they want to interpret and define law as they see fit -When does a homeowner defending his/her property using weapon, "a looter" ... that criminal mayor needs to be punish for disarming the citizen in THEIR home and all the officers and military personnel also, for following illegal / unconstitutional order ... but that will never happen b/c they are above the law. |
But when the economic pressure and threat of losing their job to support their own family, their own ass, etc.... many LEO/MIL will FOLLOW those orders  So key thing here is for those of you in LEO / MIL to be financially stable to NOT be in that catch-22 when that situation arrives. |

What would you guys have done had you been in that situation? I don't know that I would have been in the city at that point. If I was a resident who decided to stay there, I shutter to think of what I would be forced to do to protect my family. Would you guys have just handed over the guns and kick at the dirt saying there was nothing you could do? |
