I think Warren dimed them out.

I bought a rifle at the AWB is dead party.

I bought the upper from warren and the lower from Shawn.

Shawn even assembled it for me for free!

He was very strict and my dumb ass had to fill out the form a few times cause of abreviations.

I bet this is over thier plan to make single shot plastic .22 pistols for .33 cents and turn them into gun buybacks and make mad cash.

Cant have that.

This is bullshit.  The Cav crew are some of the coolest, most upstanding people I know.  They're as legit as they come.  I just wish I was back in AZ to help lend a hand repairing the damage.

WTF??????

I can't imagine anyone more in line with all the regs than Shawn, Russel, and crew.

What did Warren do? I had a lengthy absence from Arfcom and missed all the good gossip.

I am very hesitant and reluctant to reply to this issue right now... I will say simply, if this crap is true, I will be VERY surprised. I have known these guys for a long long time, and I doubt highly there is any weight to these allegations.

nobody really knows except the atf, at least that is talking and they are "looking for something" that they aren't disclosing.  i did learn that w/ a fed search warrant the items they are looking for don't have to be disclosed like on a local/state warrant, so from what i have read they have taken a lot :(

Go to this thread and see what you can do.  I'm trying to scrounge up some $$ for a lower, perhaps just straight donation.  Also, pass the word to everyone else.

If he's at a Fed prison, I wouldn't think this would be "Eyes Only" intel. I would think it would be public information.

It is public information.  During the trial member innocent_bystander posted a link to the court info.

Lowers will be avable for walk ins on Monday I believe.

They are in Tempe, by the Market place @ 101 and the 202.

Lowers are "NOT" at CAV ARMS, actually I dont think there  are any firearms at at CAV right now

Also, I can't believe it's "cash only" since AGP is taking CC orders over the internet.  Are they going to refuse to take CC orders from walk in customers?  I'd like to help Cav by buying a lower, I've sent them a small monetary donation through Striker, but cash is tight right now with taxes due in 6 weeks.   If I could purchase the lower with a CC it would help me out.  But if not I'll try to scrape up the cash.

Cav-Aid 2008 receivers

Total price after tax is $135.
CC's are fine.
Cash is fine but bring exact change.
Walk ins are fine but call first to make sure we have them ready to go.
They will not be ready Monday, maybe Wednesday.

When you are trying to find our shop remember this. There are two buildings back to back and we are in the north side building.

I just bought one online.  Can't get up there from Tucson this week, or else I would buy it walk-in.

Anyone in Tucson who has bought one and doesn't know how to put it together or would like some help doing so is welcome to IM me. I'd be glad to help. I'm in Oro Valley but can meet with someone elsewhere if traveling up here isn't doable.

Most of it is pretty similar to a standard lower, right?  I already have a SEBR Cav Arms lower, but I bought it with the LPK installed, so I've never fooled with it.

As I understand it, you have to use special takedown pins, but those are included. Otherwise, they go together like a standard lower.
3/3/2008 2:30:35 PM EDT
[#35]
They are even easier than standard lowers.  The speed pins mean no takedown pin detents, the hardest part of lower assembly.  The buffer detent and selector detent are a bit different from standard, but not at all difficult.  Standard parts kits also.
