Anybody have a kegerator they are looking to get rid of? I am looking for one somewhere in the tucson/ phoenix area. Will pay cash. Thanks |
I built one a few years back... bought a $50 fridge off of craigslist where all the internal shelves were missing - fridge was in great shape. Drilled a hole in the side, to plumb CO2 in, then used a distribution block to plum the CO2 to the 4 kegs internally. Worked great, and had under $100 invested (excluding cost of kegs) |
shit dude, are you taking a MGNT276 course at the UofA? If so im in your group, haha. Anyways, i would also build your own. It would be a much cheaper alternative. You can buy kits online that have all the plumbing and stuff you need to turn a old refrigerator into a kegerator. Take a look on craigslist for the old refrigerator. |

Damn.... too soon for me. I have a fridge converted to a kegerator that I will be selling in a few months, once I have finished off the kegs I have in it. It's plumbed for 2 tanks (I run CO2 and Nitrogen), with manifolds to be able to run up to 5 of the 5-gallon kegs (like the ones you can get from BevMo), with 4 on tap and one in ready reserve. Currently, I have an IPA and an Imperial Stout on tap. The stout is on nitrogen and is served through a proper stout tap. Yes, I brew my own beer. If I smoked, I'd be a friggin' one-stop shop as far as ATF is concerned. |
Aren't those guys now ATFExplosives now?? Okay, no more hijacking this guys thread.

When I got my ATF inspection a few years back, I had all my beer brewing equipment next to my safe. ATF agent looked at my safe, then my shelving unit.... then shook his head. |
