I am asking for help from everybody on here. I have nearly finished my Masters Degree and am in the Data Collection phase of my thesis. My thesis is on concealed carry in the Arizona workplace. If you hold an Arizona concealed weapons permit, please go to www.workplacecarrysurvey.com and complete my survey. This survey is 11 questions and should take no more than 5 minutes. As a gun enthusiast, I am very aware of the privacy concerns with this type of thing. I will be the only person seeing the raw results and there are no questions about name, location (beyond state) or weapons ownership and the results will be 100% confidential, not even IPs will be logged. In an attempt to achieve the highest reliability in the results, I need as many responses as possible. If you frequent a gun forum with a large Arizona membership base, please post this on that site as a favor to me. |
then for the purpose of this survey your job does not allow you to carry. I am sorry if the questions are not as you would like, they cannot be changed and are worded like they are for a reason. Strange how this is one of several sites that this survey has been posted on, and this site has given 100% of the negativity towards it. For those who helped me I do thank you! |
I looked at your survey, and have two thoughts on that: 1: This site has suffered through more then its fair share of trolls trying to trick / trap / mislead members into saying things that can reflect negatively on our community, and these attempts are usually made by posters with low post counts. and 2: Perhaps the other sights you posted on don't have members that apply critical thinking skills correctly. That you can't change the responses is not surprising. If you changed them, how else would you ensure getting the support for the position that you are looking for? Now don't go getting all huffy, or do, 'cuss I don't care. If you really are working on your Masters, then you should ask for your money back. The questions are in the same vain as "do you still beat your wife?". So, you are either ill prepared to formulate an accurate and unbiased poll, or you are incapable of hiding the fact that you have a predetermined agenda. Either way, you over paid for the education you received. |

Think anything you wish about my status on this site. I am in no way a troll, but it is easy to see why trolls are so pervasive here. I have been here for over a year, but do not post much due to the negativity here. Legislation is killing our hobby and it is great to see that the internet bravado is in full swing. You have your preconceived notions that I am an anti-gunner and that is fine, incorrect, but fine none the less. firearms owners are their own worst enemy, we have to fight off the rabid 1022ers the whole time, we are being kneecapped by our own ranks. if you wanna know what my thesis is about turn to page 14 of the August 2007 American Rifleman For those of you who knock my education, again do what you will. I have three previous degrees all with honors from different universities. If it makes you feel like more of a man to question my brain power, go on with your bad self. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THE 2ND AMENDMENT IS A GIVEN . IT shouldn't have to be defended. And we should be pushing towards concealed carry without a permit. THE permit system is not a right ... But arizona state rifle and pistol ass. won't push for the true right. They like teaching classes so they can make money ,money , money. ALASKA VERMONT // YOU CAN ALSO CARRY CONCEALED OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS IN WASHINGTON STATE IDAHO AND MONTANA WITHOUT A PERMIT !

the 1022ers refer to the McCarthy sponsored bill attempting to pretty much remove our RKBA it is co-signed by a melange of all the rabid anti-gunners True, ERAU is a top-tier aviation educator, but my degree is in Technical Management. As a manager workplace carry is an issue that you might have to deal with.ht, Many of you may understand that educators are mostly liberal and getting a thesis level paper on gun control that is not anti-RKBA is a struggle in itself. One of the PhDs that is on my committee was actually shocked by the JPFO article about the Nazi connection to the GCA of 68 ( http://www.jpfo.org/GCA_68.htm ). I am proud of the 60+ pages in my thesis proposal and the fact that my survey questions could maintain at least their original spirit. |
Well at least it took less than a minute to take it not the 5 min like the OP suggested. BTW: what to students use before the spell checkers? I remember the dictionary, I doubt you will find any misspelled words in there.
