Did anyone hear of the robbery attempt of the Wells Fargo in Tucson on Monday morning? I live on the corner of Campbell and Speedway so I got to see first hand a lot of the hustle & bustle. You can check out an article here: www.azstarnet.com/sn/hourlyupdate/96075 and here: www.kvoa.com/Global/story.asp?S=3933803 I think the picture is the best part: http://www.azstarnet.com/kphotos/04-bomb-robot.jpg I bet that guy was really praying that the robot operator had a steady hand on the controls. One slip on the joystick and he'd get his face ripped off... Criminals realize that they can't get away with armed robbery in a free state so they have to get creative. It's sad that the guy was a solider though. |
Whatchoo talkin' 'bout, Willis?BTW, the Wells Fargo branch around the corner from my house got robbed on October 1st. I wonder if this chump was in on that one too. Different M.O., though. www.azcentral.com/community/mesa/articles/1003mrobbery03-ON.html 4 men hold up Mesa bank The Arizona Republic Oct. 3, 2005 09:45 AM Police are looking for four men who held up a Wells Fargo Bank in Mesa on Saturday. Police said three men entered the bank at 1860 E. University about 9:45 a.m. and ordered everybody to the floor. A fourth man waited outside in a vehicle. Two of the men removed an undisclosed amount of money while the third guarded the doors. All three left in the vehicle, which had been reported stolen out of Glendale. The vehicle was recovered in an alley in the 400 block of North Williams. Looks like we're getting back to roots with all the Wells Fargo hold-ups.
