Honestly, I don't dislike anyone unless they give me a damned good reason to do so (and I have very thick skin). Also, my personal likes/dislikes never enter into anything I do on the site. Corporal_Chaos did something silly to get his account locked--I was not part of that, but if he's promised to abide by the Conduct Code now, there is no reason I can think of to not unlock him. The only thing we look for is for everyone to abide by the rules. That's it--it's never personal.

I don't want to open this can of worms again, but for the record, I didn't break the Conduct Code. TRG did something very similar to what I did, and as far as I know, nothing became of it. |

Let's leave well enough alone, but I could bring the thread back here that got you locked for all to see. I guarantee TRG did NOT have the same title--IIRC, he just posted a link to the same video, which is no big deal. Your title, and refusal to change it after being warned by several posts in the thread, is what got you locked. It wasn't exactly earth-shattering, hence your return--but it was absolutely an account locking offense.

Please bring it back, it was funny as hell. The title only enhanced the humor. Context should mean something, and the title of my thread had nothing to do with what staff would like to have everyone believe the word means. Nor was there any intention of stirring the pot, as some would like to believe. What TRG posted was a picture of him getting whacked in the head with a maglite by no less than 1GUNRUNNER. (Also very funny; the title may have even been the same. I can't remember at the moment and the search feature sucks so bad I can't find the thread, butfor some reason I'm thinking there was more to the thread...or maybe it's just because that thread got me my second banning  )
I was never asked or warned by a mod or staff member to change my title, just locked. If asked by such a figure, I would have changed it (I honestly thought the forum had moved on, but I guess it was only us members who had).
My return, three and a half months after being locked. That's more than a quarter of the term of my team membership (which expires TODAY) that I didn't get to use. Now, please don't ban me for speaking freely.  |
