Took the wife there tonite - (48th and Baseline) FANTASTIC food! AWESOME view! You get a LOT of food and it's really good. The steak I had was a sirloin cooked to perfection and you could cut it with your fork! Go when it's dark so you can see the whole city at night. Order the rattlesnake it's good...Live country music too.. Very large restaurant. It's just crowded and a bit noisey because kids eat free..But, if you can handle the noise level, you'll love it.. My restaurant review for this week - I give it 4 out of 5 AR15's |

Isn't that the wheelchair ramp? j/k The wife thought about going down it but she was in shorts and...well..you know... Plus, there were like 50 kids waiting in line for the thing.. I have had the snake there several times...My wife even has the shirt that says "I ate the snake" and she wears it to work. She gets all kinds of comments.. She wanted to get me one but I didn't think that would be appropriate for me to wear if you know what I mean.. |

Do they still have to old guy who tells stories and won't go away until you tip him? He's kinda annoying. Oh, and while I would generally agree that the food is good, don't have a 'group' function there... You get a big group in there, and the food goes to hell. (I'm talking 30+ people here) |
South on 48th Street from Baseline up on a hilltop... Looks like an old mine shaft and they have a big ol' HUGE longhorn bull outside in a pen you can talk to and pet if he comes to the fence. You're not supposed to, but I did anyway..They change him out every 2 weeks or so because PETA pitched a bitch about it.. ![]() Anyway, the view is spectacular. I've been there many times before and have gotten a window seat a few times.. You can also go out on the balcony and check it out... |
Big +1 on both points. My friend said the steak she had was one of the worst ever. I thikn we had about 20 folks or so. We finally got the old guy to go away with out tipping him. His story isn't very good either. Wes |
