so when will hunting season be over so i can go back to my favorite shooting spot in south pinal county? seems like there are always bird hunters and maybe rodent ,i mean javalina, hunter out there. not to many deer hunters since its fairly close to highway 79. |

you ever gone to the end of that road and done any shooting? i have a few times but it seems a little to populated with tourists. my spot if farther north in pinal county. i have found some good spots out in the hills next to mammoth. there is an old mining operation about 30 mins east of mammoth on a dirt road that is excellent. |
| at the very end of that road is a quarry that has a groundskeeper there but there's a gate to warn you of it. I'm not sure if thats BLM land or if its all state trust land, I'm thinking the latter. which would make it a no-no for target shooting but that doesnt stop most people who do shoot out there, although there arent that many who do. |
