Just got my Newsletter from DPS... Starting January 1, 2005, new CCW state fees will now be $65. Any application dated after 12/30 without the new fee will be rejected...

Also, make sure you are using Form E because Form D is now obsolete..

Remember too, if you move, just like your drivers license, you must notify DPS within 10 days after the move. They do not do change of addresses by email any longer. You can get the form off their website at www.arizonadps.com

Give me or Prebans a shout if you have any other questions.....

Thats fine with me. The state isnt MAKING money on the CCW processing.. We had some people in my CCW class bitching that it was too much money..  Our instructorwent through what it costs DPS to process this stuff, and its more than 65 even.

Any amount of money to exercise a right is too much...

If the state is losing money on the CCW permit program, all the more reason for the state to allow CCW without a permit.

Can't say I disagree with you... But Id rather pay a fee every 4 years than not be able to CCW at all...

That and $1.50 gets me a cup of coffee.  You're not seeing my point...

I'm not talking about the DPS needing cash...  I'm talking about my phone ringing off the hook and former students bitching me out over an administrative change I had nothing to do with and cannot affect/effect.

Mike, I knew what you were getting at. My comment was just a comment on the price increse. Guess I should have quoted the original post. Sorry.
