I think they finally lost the fight once and for all back in the 1800s sometime. If the native americans could have ever stopped fighting each other and fought the Europeans back in the 1600s, they could have stopped us from swarming the continent...well at least until Europeans developed Gatling style or automatic weapons and breach loading rifles that would even furth negate superior numbers armed with paleolithic technology (sharp sticks). |
The tribe we have out here has a corner on the river front property. They sell "river use permits" and hunting permits to the white man.
As if Europeans have always gotten along with themselves and their neighbors. I believe the disease infested Europeans had a little help when going up against the natives. By the way GarryO, congrats to you and the Mrs. |
