I just wanted to introduce myself and poll all the Tucson area people since I'll be moving there this weekend.

I've done an internet search and turned up a lot of shops and ranges.  Where do you guys go?  Best ranges for rifle?  pistol?  I saw the Tucson Rifle Club website.

Where's the best prices on ammo?

Thanks

For indoor pistol, go to the Marksman Pistol Institute on 29th street. I t has a nice friendly atmoshere. If the tucson rifle club is the one in THree points it is pretty good, however long drive.

Thanks Eagle,

Welcome to Tucson.  The Tucson Rifle Club is a damned nice range, but a long way out of town.  Murphy's Guns at Country Club and Flowing Wells is one of my favorite gun shops, as is West of the Pecos on Pima.  There are two indoor ranges I'm aware of, the Marksman (already mentioned) and Jensen's on Prince near the freeway.  Pistol and shotgun only, 25 yard.

I second and third what people are saying. I do most of my shopping at Murphy's ans Jensen's. While not PHX. Tucson has a charm itself.Talk to KBaker he has a lot of good info, more than I can give out. I hope you enjoy your move to Tucson, in the land of the free.

Thanks for everyone's responses.  I'm now all set up online (house is still a disaster area).

The weather was great my first week here.  You know I already despise the snow!
