I recently came across an article that stated "your CCW firearm must be registered in the state of Ohio for it to be legal for you to carry" I know Ohio doesn't require firearm registration, soooo anyone else ever heard of this? I think it is a bogus article. I found nowhere on the AG website mentioning this. Is there a benefit to registering a CCW or any firearm with the state? Or as long as I have serial numbers in case of theft I am OK?

There is no such thing as registration in Ohio.... What you read is bogus.
