| What are the rules regarding the signs at county fairgrounds? From what I've read they are not valid and shouldn't be posted on the entrance. What is the deal, has anyone taken this issue to the courts? |

Quoted: Well it looks like from the BFA website, the county commisioners can post the buildings but not the whole fairgrounds, has this changed? That is correct. If you see signs at the gates saying the grounds are prohibited, I would recommend contacting the fair board and telling them the signs are unlawful. |

BFA
Here is the info I was referring to. I know it's old but if nothing has changed it should be good to go. I attended the Champaign county fair last night which has apparently illegal signs at the entrances. |

There was a fellow picked up at the Holmes County fair, for illegal concealed carry. The dip did not have a CHL. Not to have your license and carry in our county is the height of stupidity as our sheriff is very much pro CHL. It takes like 3 days to get your card after you apply.
Of course the guy may be a felon and could not get one, we'll know before long. |
