If it's just the complete upper, I've used USPS a Priority Mail several times to ship uppers to Adco. It's around $7.

When using FedEx or UPS, they have to be shipped NextDay service.

USPS says no handguns, but you can ship shotguns and rifles via registered mail.

So how does it work when adco ships to back to you or an FFL?

Adco says they can ship it back directly to your home. They require a copy of your photo ID when you ship it in, and will only send it back to the address on the ID.

You can mail the rifle or ship by common carrier.  Biggest problem is usually finding a box for it.

Gun is yours.  No transfer is taking place.  No FFL required.

Anytime a gun is sent in for repair it can come right back to you.

That part is no problem.

I would go UPS simply because I have used them before without a issue.

Between the two--Mr. Brown and Fed Ex, I'd go with Fed Ex.

They seem to be a bit more on-the-ball when shipping firearms.
