Over priced sellers and low balling buyers.  I've had much better luck at the C&E shows at Wilmington.

No hobbyists set up at Hara like the good old days. All dealers as far as firearms sales go. (besides walk-ins)

Looks like the next C&E is next weekend.

Goodman show at Hara -- Horrible experience -- so crowded you can not even see what the vendors are trying to sell -- waste of time and money.

Goodman show at Airport Expo Center -- much better, a few extra vendors seem to show up and there is plenty of room to shop, Airport Expo center feels twice as big as Hara and for the life of me can not figure out why Goodman keeps going back to Hara.

C&E Show -- went to show, pretty decent.  The crowd was manageble with some good deals and some "You have got to be Shitting Me" prices.  The only complaint is $9 to get in -- or $8 with coupon -- way to much money in my opinion and therefore might not go back in the future.

I'm done with Goodman and C&E, I'm rejoining OGCA.

OGCA shows were much nicer.   I haven't been to a Goodmans show in quite awhile, but i might try one out since the components seem to be trickling back into the market.

OGCA is a better show but prices are not much better -- in fact I saw better prices at the C&E show but I am broke and could not purchase -- might be that OGCA members will pay more in general than patrons who visit Bill Goodman or C&E (I have belonged to OGCA for 10 to 15 years and I know most members are quite picky on what they purchase and sometimes cost is not the issue)

Examples:
Browing Hi Power GP Competition (Long Barrel High Power)
OGCA -- $1100 (have seen the price)
C&E -- $975 (this was for a Browning Rollmarked with Box)

Dan Wesson Pistol Pack
OGCA -- Not sure but would assume $900
C&E -- $775

There were other items where I am sure you would pay more at OGCA for the identical item.

-- You will find more "Black/Plastic Guns" at Goodman and C&E -- More collector guns at OGCA
-- You will in the past find more reloading products at Goodman/C&E -- but OGCA did change their rules recently that table owners can now sell Primers and Powder so maybe that will help down the road that I do not have to go to Goodman/C&E/Lima to get reloading components.

What's required to get into the OGCA and C&E Shows?

C&E -- just an entrance fee, at the Wilmington Show that was $9 ($8 with coupon)

OGCA
-- need a member to sponsor you and about $8 (maybe $10) entrance fee for "Guest" (1 Guest -- wife/son/daughter will cost you extra)
-- Each person can only be a "Guest" 2 to 3 times in their lifetime
-- Membership requires 2 OGCA members to sponsor and a $40 yearly due (that this fee is for the family so wife and kids get in free)
