Good evening all,
I'm new to the whole shooting realm. Just started getting into shooting in the past year. My arsenal is building up as quickly as my addiction will allow. I'm looking for decent places to shoot and LEARN from good people. I bought a Glock over the summer, inherited an AR15, and building an AR and i'm looking for good local shoots to practice and hone my skills. I know personal range time is great, but I feel nothing teaches you better than learning from shooters who are more knowledgeable than you. I live right by the New Albany shooting range, which is nice, and I drive down to Wilmington on occasion to shoot with my FIL on his property. I'm looking for friendly local matches, or range time in which to practice BS and hone my skills. Are there any ranges, local shoots, gatherings in the area that one could go to shoot the shit, etc and chill? |
| ODNR range in Delaware... $5/day pistol (25yd) & rifle (100yd) and the shotgun range is free. You can also get a year pass for free for $25. I go there occasionally, but it's a two hour hike for me so I only go to meet up with columbus buddies. There's an ODNR range up here that's closer for me. |
