Sadly true.  PRO was instrumental in such things as the Concealed Carry laws coming here in the first place, and various lawsuits to overturn unconstitutional laws.

Though its had a very important role in the past, for various reasons over the last few years, it has taken a back seat to other organizations and at the last meeting we decided it was time to shut up shop.  Folks such as Buckeye Firearms and OFCC are doing such a great job, there just wasn't a place for PRO anymore.

There was a lot of controversy, intrigue and infighting near the end sadly. Great org at one time.

To the gent who responded about pro, whats your first name at least sir so we can know whose speaking?
Thank you for your work with pro, we hate to see your org stop its fine work.

Will Roland Millar continue  the training PRO offered, the name chnged to ohio ccw
quite a while ago so i'm guessing it will be uneffected?

What will hapen with the standing relationship with C&E gun shows? Will pro since it desolved simple no longer be
involed?

I hope folks like Ron, Pete etc will consider stying in the fight after a break. BFA could certainly use their help
and experience and wouls be happy to have them by a part of our org. Hope to hear a response and please
pass ago our message.

I am Jonathan O'Connor, I own Gun Envy and we are upstairs from the Beechwold Training Center where PRO used to meet up, am also (until the 21st anyway) a Director of PRO, but a later addition to the fold.  I had hoped to do more but it wasn't to be.

The are many who deserve credit there, and much work was done by the members and the board of directors over the years.
Roland and Ron own Beechwold Training Center, BTC does the same training that PRO had always offered.  Pete is still actively involved in the training too as am I and many other instructors.

I cannot speak to the C&E relationship, really that's a question better asked of Ron/Roland and the guys at C&E, but from an outside perspective things wont look much different.

With all the issues between lawsuits and previously mentioned issues there just wasn't anything left to build upon again.

Between Buckeye and OFCC the fight is being well fought.

I will pass your message along and as always you will still see the guys at the front door of the shows checking guns :)
