Ohio Valley Tactical will be conducting a tactical rifle/pistol CQB class may 14th and 15th 2011. The class will include rifle fighting from CQB distance -300 yds, weapon transitions introduction to the shoot house with pistol then onto indoor operations with the rifle. Other topics to be covered will include weapon set up and maintainance, home defense and conclude with live fire exercises in the shoot house with both rifle and pistol. About owner/instructor Tom Taylor

Tom Taylor, owner/instructor has over 30 years experience with all types of firearms and has been a Certified Law Enforcement Instructor since 1994. He has over 18 years working and training in firearms for Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement, as well as U.S. & Foreign Military.

Tom has been with Law Enforcement Special Operations since 1994. Currently he is a team member in which his duties include sniper, advanced fire arms instructor, and entry team member. He is an instructor of numerous training courses such as Precision Rifle, CQB Pistol, Shot Gun, Sub Gun, Select and Semi-Automatic Rifle. Tom has been an accomplished competitive shooter since 1980. He started out his competitive shooting in IHMSA. International Class. Then moving on to IDPA as a Master Class Shooter also shooting in many tactical three gun matches along the way.


Hey guys this class is in Monroe County about 50 miles north of Marietta you should get the AR's up there and take a class it was awesome.

Wow, there's a lot more of us worthless nuts on this board than I thought.  Guess I better spend more time on the hometown forum.  I work across the river in good ol' West Virginia, but just a short way up the road from Washington County.

I lived in Belpre all my life until the early 90's when I moved out to the Warren SD.

I grew up in woodsfield (monroe county) used to work for sheriffs office there.... lived for a while in marietta and just left there in oct to come back to Columbus area.. 3rd time moving back this way... My family is in monroe and belmont county and that is where I go to shoot.....
