7 inches so far in northwest Columbus. Doesn't look like the brine and salt are going to keep up with the accumulation. |

I just came in from plowing my driveway for the second time today. It's a 200' long S curve.
I stepped out into the yard a little and took the snow shovel straight down then pulled back leaving a nice cut a way wall. 11"+. Marysville area. Sticky, heavy stuff. Great to build a snowman or igloo. |

Power went out for one hour already. Couldn't get on AR15.com. I think you're right down the road from me on Sawmill. Drove through there on the way home when you guys were in the dark. Happy to see that south of Case Rd the power was still rocking. And a note to my fellow drivers: If the power is out and that kills the traffic light you treat the intersection as a four way stop! Just about got t-boned in front of Sams. |

Stop whining.
I hate that people who live in Ohio complain and act surprised every winter when this happens. the further south in Ohio you go, the worse it is, and the worse the driving gets when the snow comes down ("What's this white shit?!?!?!"). Act like you've survived winter and make a snowfort. |

I should have listened to the wife, and called off! My shift got called in early today, and I have had more than enough of this white shit! I've been lucky though. I've only had to do one accident report so far. Another hour and 15 minutes, and I get to go home to a dark house (wife says electric has been off since about 9:30). |

wooooohooooooo!!!!!!! after spending 2 hours digging out my car and truck, getting to where I can move them, here comes
MR ASSHAT the snow plow driver ( part time city worker. ) and plows me back under with all the snow from the street. so another hour and a half worth of digging, and using the snow blower I was finally able to get my cars & truck out again!.... After a call to the city building, that plow truck was back, to make sure the street was clear ..( at least the city dispatchers police& fire , take care of its firefighters!!! ) would be hell trying to get out to a fire call, and not being able to even get over the 25inch+ mound of snow the plow driver left in my driveway I cant wait on the next storm.......... supplys are in place, kerosone full in case we lose power, generator at the ready...... bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! colt! |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: My wife and daughter bought me a snow blower for Christmas. Looks like I'm going to give it another work out tomorrow. Pictures? Daughter - never, wife - someday, maybe. LOL, for a moment I forgot what website I was on. I thought he was asking for pictures of the snow blower. ![]() |
