I couldn't find an intro section, so I decided to start one here.
If this is not the appropriate place, please point me in the right direction
My name is Will (aka Buck to some), and I live just south of Port Clinton Ohio. Was told about AR15.com from a friend, and decided to join up. Figured I'd say hello, and I'm looking forward to soaking up some of the knowledge on this board, and meeting some new brothers in arms. God Bless! -Will |

Thanks guys.
I haven't been up to the lake for walleye in some time now, unfortunately. We went for perch last time I was out, and I think that was my 24th b-day (few years ago). You know how it goes, work, work, work, work, play? (nope), work, work some more. I'm not complaining though, I'm very thankful that I have a good job that keeps me busy. |

Fisherman eh? My father and I have a boat on this end of the lake... Not quite. I love to fish, but haven't been able to in a long time. My buddy bought a new boat two years ago, and I still haven't been able to go out on it. He's out of Local 8 (I think), and works up at the BP refinery, so between our busy schedules, we never have time to go. |

Welcome. Your real close to the CMP store then, lucky guy! Yes Sir!! I love going up to Camp Perry during the matches also. I bought my first AR up there three years ago (RRA Entry Tactical A4/M4). However, I was dumb and sold it just before the last Presidential election. I miss that one, it was deadly accurate at mechanical zero. Haven't been able to sight my new one in yet. Hopefully I can, before the snow falls. |

Oak Harbor here. You should check out the Sandusky County Sportsmans Club. Every first sunday of the month at11:00 allot of area arfcomers get together for the Black Swamp Carbine shoot. It is usually fun and educational. They have a swap/show this weekend don't they? It's located over there off of 600 near Gburg right? If so, that's where I sighted in my last AR, with my two Marine buddies that got me into ARs, among other things :) I'll be there this weekend, if possible. There's a swap going on at the Sandusky County fair grounds this weekend as well, which I'm going to hit up first. |

I should be at the Fremont Gun Show (Sandusky County Fairgrounds) tomorrow afternoon and at Gibsonburg SCSC next weekend. The Gibsonburg Gun Show is next weekend. Next sunday, also at SCSC is the SKS - M1 CARBINE Shoots. I'm going to try to make that also. The Black Swamp Carbine Shoot is another fun shoot. |

I'll be wearing a red Ohio State ball cap, with my AR on my shoulder more than likely. I might swap it out, or at least get some more accessories for it if possible. A few of the accessories that came with it were not up to par IMO (the Ncstar D4B and CAA carry handle have to GO!) We'll be there early. Thanks for correcting me on the Gibsonburg show, I knew it was this weekend or next :) Take care. |

..used to live in Ashland, a mite south of you, but I can still say: "HOWDY!" to my Buckeye Brother in arms!
How are you doing, Buck? Man––being close as you are to Camp Perry, I'd always be at that CMP Store there! I really miss going to Camp Perry and High-Power. Enjoy! |

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone!
Skidz, I've talked to Jim a few times. One day we were on the phone for over an hour, and I believe that was on Sunday, when he's closed. Awesome man, with a lot of knowledge. In fact, he, along with a good buddy of mine, have convinced me that my next AR with be the AR-10. I want to get the Wife a R700 in .308, and I love the AR platform. So, the AR-10 is perfect :) I like to try and keep the variety of ammo I have down to a minimum. The more that work with the same type, the better :) I'm getting ready to put my AR-15 up for sale, this way I can help fund the new purchase :) Take care everyone, and God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!
