What is your favorite rifle and pistol that you own ? What gun would you like to own next ? 10/22 with Hogue bbl and Hogue stock, HK USP .40, MK Arms 760 smg |

Rifle - RRA Govt./DEA 16" Civilian w/Aimpoint ML2, CAA 6-Position Stock Pistol - HK USP40 Duotone (just bought & impressed with out-of-box accuracy!) - Bedell Custom Shorty Racegun (IPSC) in 38 Super - Springfield XD Tactical (just now ready to customize some for Steel & IPSC) What would I own next? Not sure at this point, really nothing else that tickles my fancy, but give me some time to look & I'm sure I can come up with something! |

Rifle: my Bushmaster CMP match AR-15 Pistol: my Springfield 1911A1 Loaded model tricked a little bit for IPSC limited My next gun: I just found a new shooting love, trap and skeet so I'm shopping for a quality 12g over and under shotgun... gawd I had no idea that even the basic models of these things could be so expensive! p.s. - if any of you know of any good shotgun selections around the columbus area please let me know! I'm already shopping around Vance/Buckeye/Blackwing, just curious about other options. |

I have an Argentine FN-FAL / SLR that is in mint condition (has armorer's zero target, manual, etc..). It took me years of searching to find it and I'm not letting go of it until I've passed on. With regards to my favorite pistol, my Kimber Gold Combat II 1911 is absolutely amazing! ...it's good to be me! |

Funny that you should ask, as I was just researching some of the possible tax return purchases. So far I am buying for sure a Marlin 981T and a Mossberg "Just in Case" 500 Cruiser. After that some of the choices are: Sig P232, Walther PPS in.40S&W, Springfield 1911, Smith&Wesson M&P40, or maybe a couple of stripped lowers. |

Yup, as a tax-paying United States citizen, I'm one of the owners. The USS Iowa (BB-61) is listed as United States Naval Reserve Fleet, currently stored in Suisam Bay, San Francisco last I heard. The other Iowa-class ships have been donated as museums, memorials. The final resting place for the USS Missouri (BB-63) is Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, about a thousand yards from the Arizona Memorial. The USS Wisconsin (BB-64) is moored at Norfolk, Virginia. The USS New Jersey (BB-62) is moored at Camden, New Jersey. The Missouri and Wisconsin were the last two battleships to fire 16" guns in anger, in support of Operation Desert Storm, Feburary 1991. ETA: Gadzooks! I just realized that I have spent more money on the Iowa (i.e., income tax paid) than I have on the formidable little arsenal in the bunker out back.........by the pond.his |
I can't top that one. My choices in handgun Springfield Armory loaded, and in rifle Armalite m15a4(t) I've ran everything down the barrel of that gun(except when I first got it) with the absolute exception of wolf or anything steel cased and it keeps cycling. |
