I was in your store the first day it reopened. I bought a Glock 17, I believe the second gun sale of the day. The gentleman whom sold me the gun was very friendly, but very green. When doing the NICs check, he wrote things down on the form during the check only to scratch them out during the phone call. I contacted Munnyguru over this, and he could never get ahold of you. I'm just wanting to make sure you and you're company doesn't get in trouble over this (whom knows with the ATF these days). My roadrunner account says the e-mail could not be accepted. I believe you have an AOL account, the same company that owns Time Warner which is quite baffling in the least, but I have this problem with any and every AOL account I try to e-mail. Thank you for your time, Jarrod Gibson |

I don't understand the problem, I must be slow. You have the gun, they did a NICS on you, you correctly filled out a 4473. You're done, you're good to go. What did I miss? You say the guy marked up the form, you mean the 4473 I guess? That isn't your problem. The 4473 stays at ORF, if ATF does a compliance inspection and there is something wrong with the form, that is ORF's problem, not yours. Was he changing your answers? Altering your personal information? What is it that you are trying to get to happen? Do you want to fill out a new 4473? Do you want another NICs check? Do you want to return the gun? I think you should give the gun to me so ATF doesn't kick in your door and stomp your cat. |
He butchered the form4473, put lines about through everything from the numbers the on the atf gives them, to damn near crossing out my name before I stopped him. I checked with two other gunstores yesterday and they basically said that problem is on them,"rarely" ever do they go looking for the gun because the form was messed up. I know when I left he still had my form out righting on it. The gun is now basically sold to my ex-brother-in-law in Texas come monday, I just didn't want any bumps in the road so to speak when I go to ship it out to the ffler in texas and they do their thing. I guess I'll find out in a couple days. |
