Millers is open for members only and Tim is not taking any new members until after November. This sucks greatly, I called him 3 weeks ago and he said after the first of Oct. i could shoot. What the heck!!!!!!!!!!! |

Well. let it go at that for the tiime being, things seem to be settling down, lets not push the issue so soon after all the media hype and the surburbanites all pitching a bitch because their move to an agricultural area is noisey.. Granted I only get there for major ARFCOM events, I did buy membership the first time I went, and even pay up as a donation, even though I might go 3-5 time a yr. |
I agree. Lets be thankful for what we still have. |

I visited Miller's today. Too beautiful a day not to. I had the pleasure of chatting with his assistant, Jeanie, for a half hour or so. She's quite a nice person, and she informed me that for now, Tim has plans to increase the height of the hill, and is considering ways to keep his "back yard" open to responsible people. |
JEC that must have been you out there today, I was the one shooting the mac and 1911. Yes it was a beautiful day for shooting, can’t believe we were the only ones out there. All I can say is it’s a big relief to me we didn't lose this range, hope you had a fun safe shoot and maybe I’ll see you out there again.

| If I see Tim I will ask him this, but in the mean time if any of you that actually see him (he is hard to get a hold of) ask him if it will be ok to give out day passes to folks who come with paying year round members. I have a brother in law that only comes to Ohio once a year and he wont buy a year membership just to shoot one time a year. I totally understand Tim not wanting anyone to get a day pass from here on out. But if anyone sees him ask him about keeping the day pass for members guests only and said member will have to be reponsible for his or her guests. |
I was thinking the same thing, I've only ever shot on a day pass in the past, but if I get membership, I have family that come over from the UK and I normally take them shooting. Will they have to get a year membership just to shoot for one day? |
Belchfire, Yuppers, that was me. Nice to meet ya. Hope we cross paths again. It was a perfect day to be out and about, and I had a short, nice time. For those of you looking for Tim, his assistant told me he is on vacation with his wife. I'd guess he's takin' a bike ride somewhere south, so he may not be answering the phone for a while. -John |
